It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas……

After a busy start to our sailing season, despite the rain, the staff at Manly Sailing are ready for a busy Christmas and New Year.  Anne is draping the office in tinsel and playing Christmas Carols at full tilt. Somehow “Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow” and “Winter Wonderland” don’t quite represent a typical Sydney Christmas but she gets homesick for Ireland at this time of year so we let her away with it!  Mind you she stops being homesick once she hears the weather reports from Europe and starts to admit that there is nothing quite like summer in Sydney!

The rest of the team is out on the water most days either delivering lessons or hosting Christmas Parties aboard our fleet of charter yachts.

Our Term 1 Kids Sailing program comes to an end this week with 10 happy graduates about to show off their new sailing skills to their families this Saturday prior to graduation.

Our adult courses too are all coming to an end coming up to Christmas with all of our students eager to try their new skills out on the harbour over the holdiay months.

We are still twilight racing every Friday (with the exception of Christmas Eve and New Years Eve), come along for $50 per person for a balmy evenings sail followed by dinner and general merriment with other crews back at the yacht club afterwards.

We are entering the Christmas Race on December 19th. This is a great way for our students to put their skills to the test, both sailing and decorating as their is a prize for the Best Dressed Sleigh which we are determined to win!

All of our courses start againin January, with Adult Beginner and Intermediate Courses starting on Jan 8th and 9th and kids school holiday camps beginning on January 4th.

If you are stuck for the ideal Christmas Gift – why not buy a Manly Sailing Gift Voucher. You can either buy a voucher for a whole course or race event or you can buy a $50 Gift Voucher that can be put towards any Manly Sailing Experience.

See you on the water…….
