Sailing is a wonderful way to get children out in the fresh air, learning a new skill and participating in a sport that is both a team and individual sport.
Our childrens courses are designed to provide a fun, safe and enjoyable introduction to small boat sailing . We give children an introduction to fundamental boat handling skills and essential knowledge that will allow them to know the freedom of sailing small boats, teach them a new skill, build their confidence and water awareness, all under the guidance of our Instructors.
We supply the safety equipment, the boats and the instructors. You don’t need to buy any special equipment as you should be able to find all of the required clothing already in your wardrobe. An information sheet will be supplied with your enrolment form that lets you know what clothing and gear to bring along.
We conduct Term Time Weekend Morning Sailing Programs and School Holiday Sailing Camps for children between the ages of 7 and 14 years. See below for more information or contact us on email@example.com
We also provide mid week sailing courses for Schools and short sailing experiences for Birthday Parties – contact us to find out more.

Our focus is to teach children how to sail in a fun safe environment, giving them the skills and abilities that will enable them to partake in Sailing which is truly a sport for life.
The activities are the ideal way to keep your kids involved in a regular structured sporting activity. The structured certificate based scheme runs for two hours each week and provides sessions for beginners just starting as well as ongoing activities for kids who have sailed before.
Children who participate in our camps and courses should be able to swim. We supply lifejackets which they are required to wear at all times.
Manly Sailing supports the Manly Yacht Club Junior Sailing Program and encourages children who have completed a Level 2 Course and wish to continue sailing to join the program to further their skills and grow within the sport.
The Manly Yacht Club Junior program aims at developing the skills children have learnt in their Manly Sailing Course to a competent racing standard. The program runs regular weekend training and racing opportunities with qualified instructors who are support by MYC Juniors Parents. Junior sailors can utilise the club boats for a fee and parents are encouraged to play a role on the Juniors Committee.
