Ahoy Skipper!

The Bareboat Skipper  Certificate is aimed at providing you with the skills sufficient to be a watchkeeper on board a Yacht or a Skipper in fair weather, daylight hours in coastal waters. Known in other terminology as Coastal Skipper this course is what you need to take charge of your own small vessel in the conditions mentioned above. This comprehensive course automatically qualifies you for the ICC and / or the International Bareboat Certificate. It is for those who wish to safely charter a small to medium yacht for their family holiday. There is a small written exam at the end of the course which must be passed.

We run this course in conjunction with our sister school in Sydney who are based in Balmain. A fast-track option is available to do this course over 5 days, or components can be taken individually over a number of weeks.
