Women’s Regatta 24th March


Every year the various sailing clubs around Sydney Harbour host a Women's regatta series. Each participating club hosts an event. This year Manly Yacht Club will host the their women's mini regatta on 24th March. We are looking for 12 -16 females between the ages of ~13-18 for the keelboats and 8-10 females 18+ for Solace. There will be no charge, we are trying to do our part in promoting females in sailing and getting more women out on the water. Sailing Grand Prix – 24th & 25th February


Join us for a fantastic and unforgettable experience, out on the water amongst the action as the boats race between Shark Island and Bradleys Head. National pride will be on the line as the Australian Team race against the sport’s best athletes from seven other nations – Denmark, France, Great Britain, Japan, New Zealand, Spain and the United States of America. Term Time Sailing Starts Next Week


Manly Sailing's Term Time program is starting next week. We run dinghy sailing: Optimist (level 1) and Advanced Optimist/Beginner O'pen Skiff (level 2) after school and on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Our focus is to teach children how to sail in a fun safe environment, giving them the skills and abilities that will enable them to partake in sailing which is truly a sport for life. Match Racing in Noumea, New Caledonia


This August I (Will), one of the young instructors at Manly Sailing, travelled to Noumea, New Caledonia with a team representing the RPAYC youth development squad for the 2023 Aircalin Match Racing regatta. The event was raced in J70 sport boats with teams from Australia, New Zealand, France and New Caledonia competing. It was a very tough regatta, the team’s first international match racing event, against some of the best match racers in the world. We learnt heaps and sailed really well. Manly Sailing Dinghy Open Day – 16th September 2023

Dolphin Chasers O’pen Skiff Regatta


Congratulations to our talented sailors from Manly for their brilliant performances at the Dolphin Chaser regatta (the NSW O'pen Skiff Championships) on the 5-6 November at Mannering Park.
