There’s nothing wrong with playing a few educational games or occasionally watching programs on TV, but there's a world of nature out there with so much potential for fun, learning, stimulation, and imagination! In fact, the dependence on screen-time has become such an issue that the term 'nature-deficit disorder' was coined to describe [...]

Afterwards we will be having a sausage sizzle on the deck when the kids come back in, to thank you for this term and your continued support of Manly Sailing. It's only [...]
Try Windsurfing Manly Sailing has a passion for sailing and every new day is another adventure. For that reason, we felt it was time to challenge our sailors and we had the opportunity to converse with experienced windsurfers and partner up with Australian Sailing and BIC Australia. Therefore, we now want to see if there is some interest here in Manly for windsurfing courses. Windsurfing is another fantastic water sport and it is basically a mix of sailing and surfing. It could be a great addition to Manly Sailing and our location here in Manly. To see whether there [...]
Wow, what a start of the new year! We've had more than a hundred kids joining us between three 3-day camps this month. The response that we got from the kids were that they really enjoyed learning to sail, including theory and exercises such as rigging, derigging, capsizing, turtling, follow the leader etc. and most important of all, they made so many new friends which is so fun for us to see! This time, we decided to offer two camps depending on the kids previous sailing experience. The intention was to challenge the more experienced kids and further [...]
