Term Time Sailing Starts Next Week

Manly Sailing's Term Time program is starting next week. We run dinghy sailing: Optimist (level 1) and Advanced Optimist/Beginner O'pen Skiff (level 2) after school and on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Our focus is to teach children how to sail in a fun safe environment, giving them the skills and abilities that will enable them to partake in sailing which is truly a sport for life. Match Racing in Noumea, New Caledonia

This August I (Will), one of the young instructors at Manly Sailing, travelled to Noumea, New Caledonia with a team representing the RPAYC youth development squad for the 2023 Aircalin Match Racing regatta. The event was raced in J70 sport boats with teams from Australia, New Zealand, France and New Caledonia competing. It was a very tough regatta, the team’s first international match racing event, against some of the best match racers in the world. We learnt heaps and sailed really well.
