Sailing Courses on an O’PEN Skiff
One of the best ways to learn to sail is in a dinghy. Small, manoeuvrable and you have to control everything yourself. Learn to sail single handedly in an O’PEN Skiff. It can be a bit tricky at first as the boats require some balancing, but teenagers tend to be more confident and learn quickly. We generally put the teenagers straight into level 2 and within a few weeks they have often built up the boat handling skills to manage their boat with confidence.
Level 2 sailing courses are available in term 4 and term 1 on Monday or Wednesday after school 4-6.15pm, Saturday or Sunday 8am-10.15. If you have missed the 1st week or 2, don’t worry we can do a catch up. Please call the office to chat.
Level 3 sailing courses are available on Wednesday after school 4-6.15pm or Saturday 10.15-12.30. If you have missed the 1st week or 2, don’t worry we can do a catch up. Please call the office to chat.
